Sign-In Visitors Quick and Easy
First time visitors are directed to the front desk where they provide a photo ID. Front office staff scan their ID and get a current photo. Subsequent visits allow visitors to sign-in on their own using the campus kiosk.
Check Immediately For Offenders
When visitors sign-in a real-time screen is run to identify registered sex offenders. You can configure a look-back period so the sex offender screen is re-run daily, weekly or monthly. If a visitor triggers a “HIT” on the sex offender screen an alert is sent to a configured list of email and text contacts that can include campus administrators and district security.
Print Visitor Name Tags
Single-use name tags are printed when a visitor signs-in or when signed-in by front office staff. The name tag includes a photo, date and time, the purpose of the visit and a bar code to sign out on departure.
Capture Current Visitor Photos
Capture current photo of visitors or allow visitors to update their own photo from the EZVisitor Kiosk. This allows your school staff to quickly identify them by their name tags, and compare them to pictures returned on any “HIT” that comes back from a national sex offender registry check.
Setup Lists Of Restricted Visitors
Before they even try to sign-in at your school you can create a list of restricted visitors, based on court ordered or security-based limitations. Visitors are directed to the front desk where staff can quickly view any comments or restrictions on their record and take appropriate action.
Send Alerts To School Safety Team
Even when no visitor signs-in, staff can initiate a system alert in the form of an email or text if a problem arises requiring administrative or security intervention. Choose a specific list of contacts to receive the alert or send it to all staff, parents and students.
Track Visits Across All Campuses
Schools can see the other schools where visitors have been, as well as the purpose of their visit. Comments on a visitor’s record at one school can trigger alerts at all schools. Campus or district personnel can run ‘on-site’ reports from either the EZVisitor Kiosk or the administration console of the system and can download a list of names to share with law enforcement or district security personnel.
Report On-Site Visitors
With the press of a button generate a report of all visitors and volunteers in your building. This report can be run by campus staff or security personnel on a computer or mobile device during a campus lock-down or drill.
Sign Students In & Out At Your Campuses
Upload students from your student information system with their ID numbers and sign them in or out by scanning their ID barcode. If students don’t have an ID number they can use their name and Date Of Birth.
Track Who Picks Up Students
You can also upload or add approved pickups to your EZVisitor Student Tracking module. This lets your campuses identify who should be allowed to pickup at student. With this new feature you can notify parents/guardians about student departures and with whom they leave.
Configure EZVisitor By Campus
Create a different visitor sign-in configuration for each school. This includes a unique list of school contacts who are notified by email or text, when an alert is sent by the system or front office staff. You can also enable and disable features to troubleshoot problems.
