If you have employees that work with the schools or district where your business is a Partner, they have a couple of options. Which options is best depends on how active they will be and whether they will work independently or simply participate when your business or organization participates as a whole.
Participate Occasionally?
If your employees will only be working when your business helps at a school, then you can simply log their volunteer time as an Outcome to an offer of request you work on in EZPartner. You can include the number of employees that show-up and the total hours they volunteered.
Run Their Own Show?
Sometimes you have a department (like IT or HR) that does their own community engagement activities, or if you are a franchise business with multiple locations and each location works in their local school(s), you may want to have them sign-up in EZPartner on their own.
To do this your school district needs to have the Partner Employee feature enabled. There’s no additional cost to them or you to do so. Once that’s done they can provide you or your employees with the sign-up link.
As an employee they will be identifying your business or organization as their employer. As an employee they will not be able to change any of the Partner Profile information you have created that appears in the Partner Directory. However, they will be able to create offers and help out on requests independently or your overall company.
EZPartner will keep track of any outcomes associated with these employees and when reporting time comes, your Partners In Education contact can provide you with numbers on the outcomes of offers and requests for you and your employees.
