Schools

Schools are registered in EZCommunicator so they can be used as part of a User Profile.  Users can establish relationships with one or multiple schools in your district. 

For example, they can define a relationship as a PARENT of students at any number of schools, and can also define a relationship as a VOLUNTEER at those same or other schools.  School Relationships can then be used by you as a way to target an email or other type of communication.

When a user selects a school relationship this part of their User Profile can be used to publish notices, newsletters or surveys targeted to anyone with that particular relationship.

Schools – Add

To register a new school use the Add School function.  Select the type of school, such as Elementary, Middle, High School or other.  Type the school name and optionally include the Mailing address and school phone for reference.  For school names that have both Elementary and Middle schools associated with them (i.e. Wilson Elementary and Wilson Middle) make sure to include the school type in the school name field to avoid confusion when users are registering.

Schools – List

From the School List page you can see the list of previously registered schools and edit or delete any of your schools. 

Note: If you delete a school from your registered schools list, all users who have a relationship with that school will have that relationship deleted from their user profile.
