Features
Register Volunteers – Volunteers can self register through your website. You can configure the system with the schools and locations in your district, the types of opportunities your volunteers can select, and the disclosure questions and information you will require them to provide.
Track Background Checks – Select all volunteers or a sample to background check and export a report for your risk management department to verify, or use our automated connection to our volunteer screening partner. This link will transfer volunteer records to the online screening system and record the results in EZVolunteer.
You can also include notes about the background check and flag the records of any volunteer whose background check turns up a problem. Your school coordinators will see the flag on the volunteers on their list, without knowing the details of the background check.
Schedule Volunteer Opportunities – Create one-time or recurring volunteer events at your schools. Choose whether to automatically match volunteers to the opportunity when they sign up.
Notify Volunteers – Send email notification to your volunteers about upcoming opportunities so they can sign-up, or to remind them where and when to arrive. Choose volunteers to notify, based on the general opportunity types they’re interested in, or specific activities at your schools.
Record Volunteer Hours – Once a volunteer activity is completed volunteers or their school coordinators can record hours for the event with EZVolunteer. If no specific opportunity was created in EZVolunteer hours can be recorded to the school generally so they aren’t ‘lost’.
If volunteers are signing in at the school front office, using the VMSKiosk module makes it a breeze to record their hours immediately as they arrive to volunteer, or when they depart.

EZVolunteer pricing is based on the number of registered volunteers in your system, and whether you are using EZVolunteer on a standalone basis, or as an add-on module to EZCommunicator. Volume discounting is available for districts with over 5,000 volunteers.
