About Us : Our Team : Ronnie Franke


As Chief Technology Officer at Relatrix Corporation,

Ronnie Franke brings over 18 years of technical and project management and business analysis experience to Relatrix. He has been the primary architect and technology ‘change agent’ for the company – planning and implementing our Application Services infrastructure and selecting our key technology partners. He also keeps his technical skills honed by continued consulting and project management work with Applix’ iEnterprise and web deployment and data integration projects.

Before his CTO role with Relatrix, Ronnie headed Technical Services operations for New Millennium Strategies, a business and IT consulting firm. He hands-on managed several web-based development engagements including an online recruitment system for matching prospective employees and employers, which now serves thousands of IT and marketing professionals in the Houston area. He has also worked on web integration projects for a Global 500 company in the Pharmaceuticals and Chemicals industry. This engagement integrated all of the data systems at one site and provided online analytical processing capabilities that ended up saving the client over $300,000/year.

His Business Analysis expertise owes much to his tenure with Waid & Associates, an engineering services firm in Austin, where he served as Director of Computing Services. Here he started by restructuring the company’s computing team, in a turn-around exercise that netted Waid over $500k in combined cost savings and revenue creation. He also functioned as the company’s business process analyst on consulting engagements. In this role he helped clients identify and execute IT projects to automate or optimize their current business processes through software. On one such project for the largest refining company on the Gulf coast his efforts to integrate the data systems at one of their refineries resulted in a cost savings of over $200,000/year.

Ronnie’s Technical and Product Management skills were developed while working at Chemshare Corporation, a Houston-based software firm, where he worked first as project director, in charge of a team of 40 developers and analysts overseeing a $6 million project budget for a Fortune 50 client. He was later in charge of product management and helped Chemshare create a new Windows-based product from their Unix-based enterprise, engineering management system.

He developed his Customer Service process understanding working in and then running the Technical Services Group of an Austin software company. He ended up assembling a team of six CSRs and Professional Services consultants

Ronnie’s technical background ranges from database and web projects at the departmental through enterprise level deployments. His experience in sifting through the technical issues of both Windows and Unix-based applications and databases gives him a broad technical knowledgebase to draw upon, which is rare in the industry.

As a native of the Austin area, Ronnie handles Relatrix’ IT planning and eRM implementation needs from one of the fastest growing high-tech areas in the country. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from UT-Austin. With what time is left after work he maintains an active role in his church and as a youth leader in his community.
